Kelly Services is hiring experienced Forklift Operator II candidates for a full-time 2nd shift role. Operators will run multiple forklifts—including reach, sit-down, clamp, and cherry picker—in a stable distribution center.

**Pay Rate:** $19.00 per hour
**Shift** : 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday–Friday
**Location:** Chino, CA 91708
Position Summary
The Forklift Operator II is responsible for safely and efficiently operating material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, stage, and count merchandise within a rack-supported warehouse environment. This role requires operation of multiple types of forklift equipment and may include order picking, order checking, and inventory control duties. Operators must spend 50% or more of their work time operating forklift equipment.
Forklift certification is required on at least three (3) types of equipment, including sit-down/stand-up, clamp, cherry picker, and reach truck.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, cherry pickers, and/or reach trucks to stack and store merchandise in designated locations (minimum 50% of work time).
+ Safely unload inbound shipments and transport product to assigned storage locations.
+ Pick, pull, and prepare products for outbound shipment in accordance with customer and quality standards.
+ Load outbound trailers, ensuring accurate product quantity, type, and placement.
+ Move product between staging, storage, and trailer areas as required.
+ Perform RF scanning to ensure inventory accuracy and shipment verification.
+ Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventories as requested.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records, reports, and documentation.
+ Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory control procedures.
+ Complete pre-operation equipment inspections and required inspection forms.
+ Operate all equipment safely and in compliance with established safety policies and procedures.
+ Report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to management promptly.
+ Identify and report inventory discrepancies and assist inventory control with resolution.
+ Utilize basic computer systems, including Excel, for inventory and reporting tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or GED.
+ Minimum 1 year of forklift and/or warehouse distribution equipment experience.
+ Forklift certification required (minimum three types of equipment).
+ Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hours per shift.
+ Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without restriction.
+ Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and lift both below waist level and above head height.
+ Ability to work in large distribution centers (facilities may exceed a quarter mile in length).
+ Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels, lighting, and temperatures.
+ Availability to work extended or irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
+ Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and customer service orientation.
+ Basic understanding of equipment safety and warehouse operations.
+ Proficiency with RF scanners and general computer systems.
+ Reach truck certification
+ Prior experience operating multiple forklift types in a rack warehouse environment.
