Job Description
We are a seeking an experienced assembler who has the ability to perform a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies.
What you’ll do
The essential functions and key responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
+ Follow production drawings, procedures and work instructions in detail, understands and applies established workmanship practices for all facets of satellites, medical, defense/aerospace and high reliability industrial applications
+ Ensure that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
+ Operate and set up Dage 400 and K & S 4124 Manual Wire Bonding equipment to perform thermosonic gold wire and aluminum wire bonding.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates, quality control and process engineers to ensure product meets strict specifications.
+ Attentiveness to details and adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols are essential.
+ Assist with training as required.
+ Perform Bond Pull, Die Shear and Sheer Strength Test as determined by Supervisor.
+ Delicate hand assembly of electronics devices using solder, epoxy, and wire bonding techniques specifically under the microscopes.
+ Inspect completed work to quality requirements.
What you need
+ Possess excellent manual dexterity, manufacturing knowledge. Experience with small parts, small hand tools, equipment, and microscope.
+ Ability to read and work from engineer drawings, work instructions and bills of material to understand the required parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
+ Possess a solid, quality minded work ethic and a strong attention to detail with a strong desire for precision and accuracy when executing job duties.
+ Knowledge of Foreign Object Debris (FOD control.)
+ Must be able to work overtime if required, on short notice.
+ High School Diploma and basic computer skills are a necessity.
+ A minimum of 2- 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly, production environment, or cleanroom experience is essential.
