About the Team
The Senior Technical Program Manager will join the Technical Program Management (TPM) organization at Nutanix, specifically focusing on the Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) product line. This team is dedicated to driving innovation and delivering seamless hybrid and multicloud solutions for customers globally. Located in San Jose, CA, the culture within the team is collaborative and fast-paced, encouraging open communication and cross-functional partnerships to enhance the customer experience and ensure high-quality product delivery. The mission of the team is to support agile development processes while maintaining a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement in SaaS delivery.
You will report to the Hiring Manager, who values a transparent and inclusive leadership style that empowers team members to take ownership of their projects while fostering an environment of trust and collaboration. This role is hybrid, requiring the new hire to be onsite three days a week to facilitate close teamwork and engagement with colleagues, while still allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
There are no required travel commitments associated with this role, allowing the Senior Technical Program Manager to focus exclusively on local project execution and collaboration within the hybrid work model.
Your Role
+ Drive complex, cross-functional SaaS programs aligned with Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) initiatives.
+ Lead end-to-end program management to enable customers to run Nutanix software on public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Collaborate with engineering, product management, and cloud operations to define program scope, objectives, and success metrics.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, and visibility dashboards for cloud-native projects.
+ Identify, manage, and proactively mitigate technical dependencies and risks across on-prem and cloud environments.
+ Facilitate cross-functional collaboration ensuring architectural, security, compliance, and scalability alignment for NC2 offerings.
+ Communicate program status, progress, and challenges effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
+ Implement continuous improvement processes in SaaS delivery, focusing on automation, observability, and operational excellence.
What You Will Bring
+ Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ 8+ years of experience in software engineering, quality, and project/program management.
+ Proven track record in delivering complex SaaS programs and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
+ Strong software engineering and QA technical background with a focus on high-performance, quality software.
+ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
+ Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
+ Strong influencing and collaboration skills in complex and ambiguous environments.
+ Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Google sheets/docs for tracking and communication.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD$148,000 and USD $296,400 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
