Behavior Technician
Salary: $21.60 - $23.00
Position Overview: This position supports daily behavioral services by working directly with staff to implement behavior and medication support plans for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include observing and documenting behaviors, providing hands-on guidance and training, maintaining records, and collaborating with the Behavioral Intervention Specialist to ensure plans meet state requirements. The role may involve supporting multiple programs and participating in ongoing training. Work Location: Ontario County, NY
Schedule: Full-time; Flexibility in schedule required to meet agency needs. Some evening shifts could be required.

Responsibilities
+ Works directly with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to provide person centered support
+ Data collection within Therap (for: ISP/updates/med changes/meetings etc.)
+ Training for all direct care staff on BSP and MHMP (after initial training by BIS)
+ Collect data for FBA (initially/semi-annually)
Requirements
+ Bachelor Degree preferred in human services or related field, with minimum of three years' experience utilizing behavior support plans; an Associates' Degree with an acceptable combination of education and experience, or seven years' experience working directly with ID/DD is required.
+ Basic Microsoft Word, Excel is preferred.
+ Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is required.
