Your role and responsibilities
Your mission as a Brand Sales Specialist is to create demand and progress opportunities to close for your assigned platform, by leading high level, platform level whenever possible, strategic conversations and building a trusted relationship where technology is seen as a way to advance your clients business goals. You partner with your clients and your colleague to co-create platform/brand specific solutions that address their business needs and drive client innovation.
Required technical and professional expertise
* Knowledge of the State& Local Government industry to map and understand how to solve business problems with IBM Automation software.
* Understanding of relevant platform/brand products to sell using product demonstrations, storytelling and whiteboarding.
* Existing knowledge of integration solutions (API, MFT, B2B, event processing, Application integration), technology business management, asset lifecycle management, or identity management software.
* Understanding of Ecosystem and Partner's footprint and capabilities/competencies within your territory.
* Strong knowledge of pricing /subscription models related to offering and how to create the financials and contracts.
* Ability to engage other IBM teams and subject matter experts (e.g., Brand Technical Specialist, Client Engineering, Customer Success Manager) early in the sales process to accelerate deal progression, customize client experiences, win the deal and grow software consumption.
Preferred technical and professional experience
* 3+ years of technology selling experience in the SLED market.
