Summary:

As a Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for assisting customers in person and over the phone, entering orders in system, reviewing and pulling orders, and ensuring customers' needs are met in a professional and timely fashion. This job pays a base hourly wage plus a non-guaranteed profit sharing bonus. Required working hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Sales experience: 1 year

+ Customer Service experience: 1 year

Preferred Qualifications:

Solar or electrical sales experience is preferred but not required. Bachelors degree is preferred but not required. If your application is accepted you will be invited for an in person interview and assessment.

Working Conditions:

Conditions vary based on needed activities and will include warehouse, sales floor and external environments. Some activities will include lifting (maximum 50 lbs.), sorting, standing, and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. Close toe shoes required.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Create Sales Register, pull material from the warehouse, and fill the order

+ Create or write manual sales registers

+ Accept Credit Card or Checks for payment

+ Keep counter area and displays clean, stocked, and neat at all times and assist in maintaining the entire location in a clean and orderly fashion

+ Assist with purchasing duties by informing the Purchasing Agent when item inventory is low or sold out

+ Answer sales calls and complete orders over the phone

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $45000 to $50000 hourly.
