Job Summary and Qualifications
At Mobile Heartbeat™, we’re driven by the mission to transform how clinical professionals communicate and collaborate in healthcare environments. As a **Solution Architect** , you’ll leverage your expertise in healthcare workflows and clinical communication technologies to shape the future of our products and services.
Operating at the intersection of clinical needs and business strategy, this role involves broad collaboration across multiple departments, including professional services, sales, product development, user experience (UX), and marketing, to ensure alignment with organizational goals. You’ll play a key role in guiding the strategic direction of clinical implementations and innovations.
The **Solution Architect** will take a holistic view of the clinical ecosystem, working closely with internal teams to optimize the value Mobile Heartbeat delivers to healthcare organizations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships to ensure that clinical products meet the dynamic needs of healthcare professionals and institutions.
Responsibilities
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Serve as the primary liaison between the clinical teams and internal departments (sales, product, UX, and marketing), ensuring strategic alignment in all initiatives.
- Provide clinical insights and feedback to the product and UX teams to influence product development and enhancements.
- Collaborate with marketing to highlight clinical benefits in campaigns and materials aimed at end-users and decision-makers.
- Support sales efforts by providing expert-level clinical insights during customer interactions and demonstrations.
Clinical Strategy Development:
- Lead the development of clinical strategies to drive product adoption and optimization in client sites, integrating market trends and customer feedback.
- Create and promote best practices for clinical implementations, ensuring the scalability and effectiveness of Mobile Heartbeat solutions across various healthcare environments.
- Develop long-term plans to align product offerings with the evolving needs of healthcare professionals and regulatory standards.
Internal & External Thought Leadership:
- Represent the voice of the clinician in strategic decision-making and product design, ensuring that Mobile Heartbeat solutions improve clinical workflows and outcomes.
- Present clinical and operational strategies at internal and external meetings, conferences, and workshops, establishing the company as a thought leader in clinical communication technology.
Customer Engagement & Optimization:
- Work with clients to assess their clinical workflows and identify opportunities for improvement through the implementation of Mobile Heartbeat products.
- Develop and deliver high-level recommendations to optimize clinical workflows, driving improved communication and collaboration across care teams.
- Oversee high-level clinical discovery, documentation, and analysis of healthcare systems to ensure optimal alignment with customer needs.
Executive Reporting & Leadership:
- Report directly to the Manager, Implementation & Delivery
- Meet regularly with VP of Professional Services, providing insights on strategic initiatives, client feedback, and cross-departmental projects.
- Guide and mentor junior members of the clinical implementation and strategy teams, fostering professional development and growth.
Required Skills, Education and Experience
- **Education:** Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in healthcare, informatics, business, or a related field.
- **Clinical Background:** Minimum of 7 years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare IT, or related fields. A strong clinical background is required.
- **Strategic Insight:** Proven experience in developing and executing strategies that align clinical solutions with business and market goals.
- **Communication & Leadership:** Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- **Analytical Thinking:** Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision-making skills.
- **Healthcare IT Knowledge:** Familiarity with healthcare communication systems and an understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical needs, and regulatory environments.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Experience working with product development, sales, UX, and marketing teams to drive clinical innovations.
- **Project Management:** Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously.
- **Travel Requirement:** Ability to meet travel requirements of approximately 25%.
