What you will do:
+ Knows, understands, incorporates, anddemonstratesthe Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
+ Leads daily operation of clinicalarea. Develops and updates staff schedules; assures coverage of assigned area(s). Addresses issues promptly by reporting, directing next steps and/or resolving viachainof leadership. Offers suggestions to improve services andviableoptions for potential solutions.
+ Leads staff inutilizingProcess Excellence concepts daily for continuous improvement.Identifiesareas of focus. Ensures evidenced based imaging care.
+ Providesinformalcoaching,discipline,mentoringand guidance relating toImaging Servicesmatters, asappropriate.Administers anddocumentsdisciplinary action asappropriate.
+ Communicates effectively andin a timely mannerwith staff, radiologists, and other managementregardingequipment, staffing, and other items thatimpactoperations.Actively listens and helps others positively manage change and deal with stressful situations.
+ Facilitatesstaff interviews, training/orientation, and evaluations/competencyassessments. Provides input on hiring decisions,
+ Assistswith development, review and revision of departmental policies and procedures. Ensurescompliance with all government and regulatory bodies to achievemaximumaccreditation. Ensures the completion of QAactivities,maintainscurrent relevant documentation.
+ Works collaboratively with radiologists tomaintainquality in every aspect ofpertinent modality.
Qualifications:
+ Mustpossessa comprehensive knowledge ofImaging Servicesthroughequivalentcombination of education and experience.Bachelors in a healthcare discipline preferredand 2+ years of experience inspecialty ofsupervision.
+ Must have relevant credentials as defined below:
+ Successful completion of an accreditedprogram.
+ Maintains active registry status in ARRT, ARDMS,orappropriate professionalorganization.
+ Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
+ Maintains Basic Life Supportqualification.
+ No disciplinary actions in file (written notice or above)
+ 3-5 minimum years of experience inSonography.
Education and Licensure :
+ Must be registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS/ARRT)withtwoof the following.
+ Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
+ Registered DiagnosticCardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
+ Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
+ Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSKS)
+ Maintains active registry status with ARDMS/ARRT(30 CME’s every 3 yrs/annual payment)
