    Test Technician - Caledonia WI

    • **Location:** Caledonia, WI

    • **Pay Rate:** $24.46/hour

    • **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    • **Training:** First 2 weeks on 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

    • **Overtime:** Very rare

     

    About the Role

     

    We’re looking for a **Test Technician** to join our team in Caledonia, WI! In this role, you’ll work in a high-voltage testing environment, preparing and performing electrical tests on components following IEEE/IEC standards. If you’re detail-oriented, safety-focused, and have a solid understanding of electrical principles, this is a great opportunity to grow your career.

    What You’ll Do

    + Set up and configure high-voltage test equipment according to test plans.

    + Perform AC/DC dielectric, impulse, and related tests on electrical components.

    + Monitor equipment, verify readings, and accurately record results.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S standards.

    + Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Complete test documentation for traceability and audits.

    + Report anomalies or questionable results to the supervisor.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Must-Have Skills:

    + Basic knowledge of electrical principles and safety practices.

    + Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

    + Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

    + Strong commitment to safety.

    + Associate degree (preferred, but flexible based on experience).

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a high-voltage environment.

    Nice-to-Have:

    + Experience in high-voltage testing or electrical lab work.

    + Familiarity with IEEE/IEC test standards and high-voltage equipment.
