Our client, a leading organization in facilities management, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Facilities Technician

**Location:** San Diego, CA

**Pay Range:** $34/hr - $42/hr

What's the Job?

+ Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.

+ Conduct inspections and report on conditions affecting client occupancy and operations.

+ Assist with interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, repairing furniture, and installing fixtures.

+ Support safety procedures by completing hazard assessments and maintaining a safe work environment.

+ Drive to various locations as needed, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of materials and equipment.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 1-3 years of relevant experience in building repair and maintenance, including basic plumbing and electrical work.

+ Valid state driver’s license (if mobile).

+ Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work from heights, including climbing ladders up to 30 feet.

+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety and teamwork.
