Basic Job Functions:

St. Louis Cold Drawn is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Maintenance Electrician. This position provides support to the team by working closely with operations and maintenance to safely troubleshoot, maintain, repair and upgrade electrical equipment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ Troubleshoot and correct electrical systems on all production lines

+ Design and install electrical conduit, wiring and components for process equipment

+ Perform scheduled preventative electrical maintenance tasks on production lines

+ Assist in tracking, organizing, and maintaining electrical/automation spare parts inventory

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent

+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams

+ Extensive experience troubleshooting electrical systems and circuits

+ Extensive experience with motor controls and drives, both AC and DC

+ Basic knowledge of PLCs and ladder logic

+ Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with Allen Bradley PLC programs

+ Experience with Studio 5000 software and ladder logic

+ Experience in commissioning and start-up of industrial equipment

+ Experience reading hydraulic diagrams and troubleshooting hydraulic systems
