Job Title: Building Engineer** **Job Description

Join our team as a Building Engineer where you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair facility mechanical, electrical, lighting, and other installed systems and equipment. You will maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems across 13 different site locations, assist with equipment installations, and perform HVAC repairs including replacements of compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, and condenser coils. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and repairing building automation systems, maintaining refrigerant compressors, transfer pumps, expansion valves, and performing various electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for facility systems.

+ Repair HVAC systems and conduct replacements for compressors, condensers, and coils.

+ Troubleshoot and repair building automation systems for HVAC.

+ Perform electrical repairs including conduit piping and electrical panel maintenance.

+ Conduct interior and exterior building repairs and maintenance.

+ Maintain stock and inventory control.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of Commercial HVAC experience

+ EPA Universal Certification

+ OSHA 10 Certification

+ Experience with HVAC maintenance, plumbing, and electrical systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Daikin, York, Carrier HVAC Systems

+ 10+ years of Commercial HVAC Maintenance and repair

+ Experience with building maintenance, repair, boiler, and carpentry

Work Environment

You will work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential for overtime ranging from 50-60 hours per week. This position includes driving a company vehicle to service 13 site locations between Rochester and Buffalo, NY. You will work autonomously, accessing work orders via an iPad. The role may require after-hours and weekend support for building-related activities and client emergencies. The work involves servicing 120-150 air handler units, with some units up to 50-60 tons.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $76960.00 - $83200.00/yr.
