Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with 1-2 years of experience in machine operation or production. The ideal candidate should possess mechanical and technical aptitude and have entry-level computer skills. This role requires expertise in setting up and troubleshooting production machines. Experience as a Feeder/Inspector is preferred, and mechanical experience, such as automotive or small engine repair, is beneficial.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain various machines, including finishing machines.
+ Perform make-ready tasks using tools such as allen wrenches and screwdrivers.
+ Utilize SAP, RF Gen, and Ignition systems efficiently.
+ Engage in routine and team lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
+ Perform tasks involving standing, walking, and handling for extended periods.
+ Read and interpret computer screens and other electronic devices.
+ Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing hearing protection and steel-toed boots.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of machine operating or production experience.
+ Mechanical and technical aptitude.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Ability to set up and troubleshoot glue systems.
+ Proficiency in using various hand and electrical tools.
Qualifications
+ Experience with Feeder/Inspector roles.
+ Mechanical experience in automotive or small engine repair.
+ Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
+ Knowledge of finishing machines and glue systems.
+ Capacity to work under inside conditions with extremes of heat, humidity, and noise.

Work Environment
This role requires wearing steel-toed boots, which are reimbursed upon permanent hire. The workplace is smoke-free, and employees must adhere to this policy. Shifts include 12-hour rotating schedules and 8-hour shifts, with initial training on day shifts before transitioning to regular hours. Candidates will work in an environment with high temperatures, humidity, and noise, necessitating hearing protection.

This is a Contract position based out of Mitchell, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
