Job Title: Quality Control Technician** **Job Description
The Quality Control Technician performs routine checks, tests, gauging, and instrument inspections of raw materials, goods in process, and finished goods. This role is crucial for documenting and communicating nonconformities to supervisors and engineering teams. All quality specifications and work instructions must be followed, along with actions that support teamwork, safety, efficiency, and adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Responsibilities
+ Perform visual and dimensional inspection and disposition of components.
+ Conduct testing, measurements, in-process, and release testing in accordance with Quality specifications.
+ Initiate Discrepant Material Reports for non-conformities.
+ Participate in equipment qualification and validations.
+ Propose changes to quality documents in compliance with engineering, ISO, and cGMP requirements.
+ Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR).
+ Manage the storage and maintenance of production test pieces.
+ Maintain and archive quality documents.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Quality Control, Inspection, and Documentation.
+ Experience with clean room and lab environments.
+ Skilled in using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and other measurement instruments.
+ Ability to perform visual inspections and interpret blueprints.
+ 1+ years of manufacturing experience with a focus on QC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or Associate Degree, preferably in a technical field.
+ Basic to intermediate experience in Manufacturing/Production environments.
+ Intermediate math skills for measurements and calculations.
+ Ability to lift and/or move weights up to 45 pounds regularly.

Work Environment
This role involves working directly under supervision in a clean room and production floor environment. The dress code includes jeans and long or short sleeve shirts, with uniforms provided. Steel toe boots are mandatory, and no metal is allowed on the manufacturing floor. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime during weekdays or weekends as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
