Shipping and Receiving Manager

$70,000 - $85,000 | Greencastle, IN

Responsibilities

+ Compute required in-process stock and line supplies and requisition materials from storage.

+ Interpret specifications and job orders and assign duties to workers.

+ Interface with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met.

+ Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

+ Develop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.

+ Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in problem-solving.

+ Create and carry out work instructions ensuring quality, safety, and environmental requirements are met.

+ Support and participate in continual improvement projects for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS).

+ Implement and enforce EHS programs and policies.

+ Implement corrective actions for non-conformities identified in safety audits and monitor corrective action progress.

Essential Skills

+ Just in Time knowledge.

+ Manufacturing experience.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to jump in when needed; this is not a desk job.

+ Experience with shipping and receiving, inventory management, and logistics.

+ Forklift operation and warehouse management skills.

+ The role operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Greencastle, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

10 days vacation 5 sicks days (have use 5 of the days for the end of year shut down)

Have a 2 week shut down in July

Amazing Benefits:

Single- $7.50 a week for health, dental, and vision

Family- $25 a week for health , dental, and vision
