Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a UAV Assembly Technician, where you will play a crucial role in assembling unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for Department of Defense customers. Responsibilities

+ Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

+ Perform electrical wiring, and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.

+ Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.

+ Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.

+ Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.

+ Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.

Essential Skills

+ 2 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.

+ Mechanical aptitude and knowledge in mechanical/electrical systems.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.

+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse/production environment with individual workstations. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

This is a Permanent position based out of Stafford, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $49920.00/yr.
