    Job Title: Automation Technician** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a skilled and proactive Automation Technician to design, implement, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems. The role focuses on creating automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial instrumentation in a fast-paced production environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, install, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for industrial equipment and processes.

    + Design, develop, test, and implement automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA platforms.

    + Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations.

    + Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for electrical and control system failures.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process control and automation strategies.

    + Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs for E&I assets and projects.

    + Support commissioning and startup of new equipment and automation projects.

    + Maintain accurate documentation, including wiring diagrams, loop sheets, and control logic.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with automation and PLC programming.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming.

    + Knowledge of HMI, electrical systems, and controls engineering.

    + Understanding of pneumatics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with process automation.

    + Ability to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

    + Capability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
