Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies. This includes soldering, cable assembly, machine operation, final assembly, PCB, machine crimping, and ribbon cable assembly. You must be able to follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.
Responsibilities
+ Hand solder wires to electrical connectors and PCBs.
+ Assemble electromechanical assemblies as required.
+ Review and complete required production documentation.
+ Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions.
+ Comprehend written and verbal assignments.
+ Inspect own work to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, and assembly.
+ Proficiency in soldering and using hand tools.
+ Knowledge of blueprint reading and electronic assembly.
+ Familiarity with cleanroom and surface-mount technology.
+ High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SMT (Surface Mount Technology).
+ Knowledge of electronic assembly processes.

Work Environment
This role offers 6 openings on the 1st shift, from Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, and 4 openings on the 2nd shift for SMT, from Monday to Thursday, 2:30pm-1:00am. Enjoy working in a spacious, 154,000 square feet temperature-controlled facility with over 550 people on-site and 7 SMT lines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
