Description
The Plant Biologist supports research activities focused on understanding plant growth and development under varying environmental and physical conditions. This role involves hands-on work with row crops such as canola, corn, cotton, and soybeans in controlled environments, including greenhouses and growth chambers.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Sow seeds and manage plant care throughout growth stages.
Perform transplanting, harvesting, and seed processing.
Discard plant material and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
Monitor plant health and environmental conditions.
Maintain detailed records of plant care and experimental procedures.
Assist with routine greenhouse and growth chamber maintenance.
Participate in rotational weekend work as needed.

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
