Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Conway, South Carolina. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure smooth processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely completion within established deadlines.

• Organize and file manual checks and accounts payable documents in compliance with company procedures.

• Prepare month-end departmental reports and distribute them according to standard protocols.

• Manage manual check requests across multiple entities while maintaining accurate records.

• Perform data entry tasks with precision, adhering to required timeframes.

• Collaborate effectively with team members, department heads, and executive leadership to address financial tasks.

• Utilize technology and software tools proficiently to streamline accounting processes.

• Exhibit strong communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally.

• Maintain departmental files and perform general clerical duties to support accounting operations.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills in all interactions with colleagues and stakeholders. Requirements • High school diploma required; Associate Degree in Accounting preferred.

• Minimum of one year of experience in accounts payable; three years preferred.

• Previous experience in payroll and healthcare accounting is advantageous.

• Strong proficiency in accounts payable processes, including coding invoices, invoice processing, and check runs.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated organizational abilities with attention to detail.

• Competence in utilizing technology and PC tools for accounting tasks.

• Assessment of overall creditworthiness through a consumer credit report is required.
