Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Westwood, Kansas. This Contract to permanent position is ideal for someone who thrives in managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in transactions. The role involves overseeing various accounting tasks while contributing to the seamless operation of our financial systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform month-end closing activities, including preparing necessary reports and documentation.

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

• Handle payroll processing, ensuring employee payments are accurate and on schedule.

• Input financial data with precision using tools like Microsoft Excel.

• Generate and review financial reports to support decision-making and planning.

• Assist with tracking and categorizing expenses, ensuring proper documentation for audits.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping, with a strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.

• Experience with payroll processing and related tasks.

• Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
