Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our manufacturing team in Hopewell, Virginia. This role will focus on financial planning and analysis (FP& A), driving cost management, and standardizing forecasting processes. The ideal candidate should bring a strong analytical mindset, a commitment to improving productivity, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct margin analysis to support data-driven decision-making and enhance gross and variable margins within the the business.
• Develop financial models for optimization projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Consolidate financial forecasts for the Americas region, ensuring accuracy and accountability throughout the process.
• Support global finance team reporting requests and provide insights into financial performance.
• Enhance and maintain reporting decks for internal business and manufacturing reviews, focusing on trends and critical metrics.
• Coordinate with regional finance teams to harmonize FP& A processes and improve efficiency.
• Lead business improvement initiatives to drive cost management and productivity enhancements.
• Partner with operations to challenge and exceed performance objectives.
• Monitor and communicate critical activities and issues effectively to stakeholders, including regional leaders and functional teams.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, with a strong preference for FP& A expertise.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for financial analysis and presentation purposes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lead projects and implement change effectively.
