Key Responsibilities:
+ Provides leadership and direction to multiple managers and professional staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
+ Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams, driving success and achieving business targets.
+ Develops and implements departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities to meet strategic objectives.
+ Makes decisions based on resource availability and organizational objectives, ensuring optimal alignment with business goals.
+ Applies knowledge of key business drivers and factors that maximize departmental performance, driving growth and efficiency.
+ Manages multiple related teams, setting priorities, allocating resources, and ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and annual plans.
+ Identifies and resolves complex operational and organizational problems, leveraging appropriate resources both within and outside the department.
+ Impacts department results by supporting and funding projects, products, services, and technologies aligned with the organization’s functional business plans.
+ Persuades managers and leaders to take necessary actions and negotiates with external partners, vendors, or customers to drive success.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
+ 7+ years of experience in sales management or a related leadership role, with a proven track record of managing multiple teams and driving sales performance.
+ Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and guide managers and professional staff.
+ In-depth understanding of sales processes, business drivers, and operational strategies to maximize departmental performance.
+ Experience in developing and executing departmental plans that align with business objectives and annual goals.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex operational and organizational challenges.
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and external partners or customers effectively.
+ Proven ability to allocate resources efficiently, set priorities, and make data-driven decisions that align with business needs.
+ Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with other departments to achieve strategic goals.
+ High-level organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
