Lockwood Hills is looking for a Program Manager (PM) to work in Alexandria, VA. The PM is responsible for the management of the daily operations of a production-based program to include personnel management, financial management production management and resource allocation. Responsibilities

The Program Manager will ensure the smooth functioning of the services required under the program and works closely with the customer operations managers to address operational issues and challenges and to implement new processes and procedures as required.

+ Serve as a primary point of contact for the customer and will meet at least once per month to discuss the status of all services being received.

+ Ensure timely submission of all required reports and report change of project management staff to the customer.

+ Ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives.

+ Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery of project requirements.

+ Track progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.

+ Manage activities of external consultants and/or vendors.

+ Lead and direct the work of project employees.

+ Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

Qualifications

The Program Manager must have:

+ Demonstrated skills in personnel management.

+ Six (6) years of demonstrated experience in program or project management in a business management related area.

+ Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, etc.) or related field.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Project Management certification is preferred but not required.
