    Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - School District in Torrance, CA

     

    Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

     

    Pay Rate: $60+/hour (Negotiable) - Paid out weekly for your convenience!

We are seeking a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide exceptional school-based behavioral support for a district located in Torrance, California. This role is ideal for a BCBA who thrives in collaborative, student-centered environments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and prepare clear, actionable documentation to support eligibility, goals, and service recommendations.

     

    - Provide inclusion support tailored to individual student needs.

     

    - Consult with teachers, school teams, and families to identify effective instructional strategies, modifications, and supports.

     

    - Assist staff in developing data systems, social stories, social groups, and social-skills programming.

     

    - Use evidence-based tools and rubrics to determine levels of support for inclusion and extended-day programs.

     

    - Design and deliver professional development, staff trainings, and workshops.

     

    - Lead, coach, and support paraprofessionals providing behavioral services.

     

    - Conduct observations, interviews, and protocol-based assessments across school environments.

     

    - Develop data collection systems and write detailed reports with recommendations (e.g., token economies, visual schedules).

     

    - Participate in IEP meetings for initial and ongoing services.

     

    - Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and service logs.

     

    - Attend monthly Behavior Analyst meetings.

    Minimum Requirements:

    - Active BCBA certification (BACB)

     

    - Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field

     

    - Experience providing behavior-analytic services (school-based experience preferred)

     

    - Adherence to BACB ethical and professional standards

     

    - Current CPR certification (if required)

     

    - TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (as applicable)

     

    - Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

     

    - Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

     

    - Must be at least 18 years old
