UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Compliance position. This will be a full-time position working Monday through Friday daylight hours and will be a hybrid position reporting to the Senior Manager, Compliance.
Responsibilities:
+ -Conducts research and provides regulatory guidance and advice to support the operations of the UPMC Insurance Services Division.-Supports critical compliance operations activities including but not limited to: Conflict of interest review? Investigation support and Providing advice and guidance on questions relating to ethics and compliance and the ISD code of conduct-Creates and manages the ISDs compliance/ethics training related needs including awareness activities-Conducts role-based training as requested
+ -Provides ethics and compliance related support to audit related inquiries-Leads the creation of reporting including but not limited to any required Board reporting-Updates and maintains policies and procedures applicable to the ISD Compliance Operations office-Stays current on best practices relating to creating robust ethics and compliance program -Manages the individual and program obligations relating to required reporting including but not limited to those at the state level that involve collection and verification of affidavits and other items.
+ Provides assistance to the Compliance Program Operations Leadership team on other training initiatives, including but not limited to training resources, Annual Mandatory, Compliance Foundation Training program, and Code of Conduct. Supports the Compliance Program Operations, Compliance & Ethics team in management of the ISD Board Member document collection (Conflict of Interest and Biographical Affidavits), preservation, tracking and overall coordination and partnership with key stakeholders, internal and external. Responsible for oversight of accurate and timely reporting CCEO topics (Regulatory Reporting and Board documentation) when related to audit requests and licensing needs. Effectively lives, models, communicates and supports the values of UPMC and UPMC Health Plan. Work on other compliance related projects as required by CCEO Leadership.
+ Bachelor's degree is required.
+ 5 years of experience in a compliance role in the insurance industry and/or managed care programs is required.
+ At least 1 year previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.
+ 5 years of experience conducting regulatory analysis is a bonus
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to critically review government regulations and policies and procedures.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word product and ability to learn new and master software as needed.
+ Must be self-motivated and capable of meeting deadlines.
+ Strong, management, problem solving, and organizational skills required.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
