MVH is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapist (OT) to join the rehab team at our Augusta facility. We are the first nursing facility to embrace the Small House Model design in the State of Maine. We are a 108 bed skilled nursing home with all private rooms and on-suite full bathroom. There is also a 30 bed residential care neighborhood for those in the early stages of dementia. We are proud to serve our nations Veterans’ and provide excellent care to maximize their abilities.

You would be joining a therapy team that is highly skilled and integrated throughout the facility.

Requirements

+ Current Maine Occupational Therapist License in good standing

+ Experience in long-term care environment preferred

+ Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.

+ Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.

+ Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.

+ Basic computer skills
