Job Description

The Warehouse Forklift Operator leads and performs a variety of warehouse duties, including the safe operation of all forklift equipment. This role ensures compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports production and warehouse operations in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Day to Day:

-Operate all warehouse forklifts (Single Reach, Stand-Up Counterbalance, Swing Reach) after proper training.

-Complete and maintain accurate warehouse logbooks and records.

-Adhere to company uniform, gowning, and handling procedures.

-Conduct daily forklift inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness; report equipment issues promptly.

-Load and unload materials manually from pallets.

-Perform shipping and receiving functions.

-Secure pallets using shrink wrap (manual and machine) and other securing devices.

-Clean and maintain forklift equipment and ensure general warehouse housekeeping.

-Pull packaging supplies and raw materials for production based on pick tickets, batch records, or other documentation.

-Follow all SOPs and comply with company policies, including safety rules and regulations.

-Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) appropriately at all times.

Skills and Requirements

-High School Diploma or equivalent.

-1-2 years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or food manufacturing/packaging environments.

-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

-Clear and concise communication (oral and written).

-Basic computer proficiency.

Reading and interpreting labels and numbers on containers.

-Making corrections and comments in batch records.

-Building cooperative working relationships.
