Job Description
A Higher Education Client of Insight Global is seeking a Program Manager to lead compliance initiatives within the School of Medicine’s Information Services team, focusing on data and cybersecurity standards for specialized servers supporting medical research and machine learning applications. This role will manage projects that ensure alignment with HIPAA, NIST, CMS, and other regulatory frameworks, while coordinating closely with the Server Administration team, IS leadership, campus security, and compliance teams. Responsibilities include establishing program management structures to track goals and progress, facilitating communication and follow-up across IT teams and end-users, and ensuring timely mitigation of compliance risks. The Program Manager will also engage stakeholders to drive participation in school-wide compliance efforts, oversee documentation and reporting, and lay the foundation for a long-term compliance program that improves adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong project/program management experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem solving skills. This position is a 6 month contract role with possibility of extensions, and can pay between $63-69/hour with medical benefits and 401k options offered on contract. If interested, please apply!

Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT Auditing, GRC (governance-risk-compliance), Server/System Administration, Network Operations, and/or Cybersecurity with a focus on compliance against week know standards in data security
- 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management
- Background in data compliance such as HIPAA, NIST 800-171, and CMS
- Experience with rollouts of enterprise systems and technologies that contain confidential/regulated ePHI and PII data
- Knowledge of managing compliance-related projects and initiatives.
