**Harborview Medical Center's Sexual Health Clinic** has an outstanding opportunity for a part-time **ARNP, Nurse Practitioner; or PA-C, Physician Assistant** .
WORK SCHEDULE
+ Part-time, 75% FTE (30 hours per week)
+ Day shift
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The Sexual Health Clinic is a Public Health-Seattle & King County service that provides confidential STD and HIV evaluation, screening, testing and treatment on a sliding-fee scale.
The clinic can be accessed on a walk-in basis. If you need to be seen later than 3:30 p.m., please call our clinic to make sure we are still accepting patients for the day or contact the King County clinic website (https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health/communicable-diseases/hiv-std/patients/clinic.aspx) .

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Taking and recording detailed sexual histories
+ Performing physical examinations
+ Ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
+ Performing on site laboratory tests
+ Providing patient counseling, risk reduction education, and referral for partner management services
+ Dispensing and or/prescribing medications
+ Participating in clinical research studies
+ Training medical and public health professionals in the provision of Sexual Health clinical services
+ Assuring confidentiality of services per HIPAA and state laws
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Master’s Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License with prescriptive privileges
License to practice as an RN in Washington State
National certification as a Nurse Practitioner
BLS certification
OR
Licensure as a Physician’s Assistant in the State of Washington
National certification from a national certifying body (NCCPA)
Applicant must be eligible to receive hospital staff appointments for adjunct staff membership by the Organized Medial Staff of the hospital under Medical Staff By-Laws for hospital-based positions

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details
Pay Range Minimum:
$125,028.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:
$195,576.00 annual
Other Compensation:
$10,000 Signing Bonus
