    Pay Rate

     

    $28.00 per hour

    Position Overview

    The Trainer provides classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction to new and existing operators, supports ongoing safety education for location personnel, and ensures training activities meet company standards and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide **classroom and behind-the-wheel training** to new operators

    + Conduct retraining and refresher training for current operators

    + Deliver safety and operational training to location personnel

    + Track training attendance and maintain required training documentation in accordance with company policy and regulations

    + Support safety initiatives, including:

    + Accident investigations

    + Completion of compliance forms

    + Participation in safety meetings

    Required Experience & Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + **1–3 years of training experience**

    + **1–3 years of transportation, safety, or related experience**

    + Knowledge of **federal and state safety and environmental regulations**

    + Computer proficiency with **Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint**

    + Consistent attendance and punctuality

    + Must possess a **reliable personal vehicle** to travel within the service area as needed

    Compliance Requirements

    + Subject to **DOT drug testing and physical**

    + **DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40** does not authorize the use of **Schedule I drugs, including marijuana** , for any reason
