Sector Supervisor

SITE OF SERVICE:

+ U.S. Customs & Border Protection – Nogales Sector

+ Schedule will be provided by the Regional Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The **Sector Supervisor** will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations on assigned shifts within an assigned facility. This role is an essential part of LUKE’s team as it will provide oversight and guidance to supervisors & staff ensuring operations run smoothly on the shift.

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

+ 2+ years’ experience in management and leadership

+ Demonstrated proficiency in using technology (Computer, Tablets & iPads)

+ Train, develop and manage staff including new hires.

+ Evaluate performance and providing feedback.

+ Monitor supervisors & employees' performance.

+ Support team members.

+ Handle government and employee complaints.

+ Create and manage team schedules.

+ Report to HR and senior management.

+ Manage workflow.

+ Motivates supervisors and employees.

+ Maintain time-keeping and personal records.

+ Resolving conflicts between employees

+ Conducting training

+ Maintaining quality and service standards.

+ Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at times

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

CORE DUTIES/ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

+ Oversees daily operations independently or jointly within an assigned shift.

+ Executes revolving schedules on duty assignments on a daily and weekly basis.

+ Maintains shift logs of employees scheduled for Caregiver positions.

+ Monitors and evaluating staffing operations and workflow.

+ Provides effective leadership for all employees.

+ Monitors and documenting time and attendance

+ Enforces established policies and procedures.

+ Executes required reporting.

+ When required during unexpected absence, shift turnovers or other periods as necessary, Supervisors shall aid and perform the duties of Caregiver unit such time as the position(s) can be filled by staff.

+ Performs other duties and participate in special projects.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities. Teamwork skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential. High level of adaptability and willingness to embrace change in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
