**LOCATION:** Lancaster, PA
**HOURS:** Full Time (40 hours per week). Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. No evenings, weekends or holidays
_Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking an experienced practice leader to join our ambulatory team! The Senior Practice Manager will oversee our established Plastic Surgery practice and a soon to be open Vascular Surgery practice, providing strategic operational leadership. The Senior PM ensures excellence in administrative, financial, regulatory, and clinical operations. Responsibilities include driving quality initiatives, achieving financial goals, optimizing workflows, and fostering a collaborative environment for physicians and staff._
**Summary:** In collaboration with leadership, the Senior Practice Manager provides strategic operational leadership and direction in regard to all administrative, financial, regulatory, quality, human resources, patient/employee satisfaction, and clinical aspects for the following scope: 15+ staff directly and indirectly managed and 20,000+ budgeted annual visits
**Complexity Factors** (will involve some of the following factors of practice complexity):
+ Multiple practice locations,
+ High practice/facility square footage
+ Service line oversight
+ Coordination of inpatient services
+ Coordination of care across several departments/entities, academic involvement (research initiatives, resident program),
+ Special clinical programs
+ Multiple clinical specialties
+ Complex regulatory requirements
+ Management of external partnerships/collaborations.
Ensures management of daily practice operations run efficiently and effectively – including:
+ Patient scheduling, billing, and coordination of services/facility(ies)
+ Providing quality care to patients; championing quality initiatives with the providers and staff
+ Maintaining a patient/customer focus as evidenced by patient satisfaction scores and other indicator
+ Achieving financial goals related to budget
+ Offering a collaborative work environment that values professional ownership/accountability for physicians and staff as demonstrated through retention and engagement/satisfaction scores
+ Regularly reviewing work processes to ensure efficiency of workflow, including implementation of technology and best practices
+ Complying with regulatory requirements
+ Serving as liaison to embedded specialists, external stakeholders, other UPHS providers and acts as point person for general facility management
+ Managing (directly and indirectly) practice staff
+ Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor Degree of Science (related field) **OR** 5+ years relevant experience **AND** the completion of Bachelor's Degree within three years of Practice Manager position start date.
+ Current Penn Medicine Practice Managers hired prior to 7/1/2021 are grandfathered and must have a minimum of a high school diploma.
+ 2+ years prior customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 4+ years supervisory experience preferably in practice management
+ Prior healthcare experience
