Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time **Account Director** to join our team.
The ideal account person is a leader, someone with the tenacity, resourcefulness, business
sense, pro-active curiosity, and cool-headedness to behave like the CEO of their account,
brand or project. The account person is the only person in the agency who touches every
aspect of a project in some way: from the relationship with the client, to the relationship with
the team, from strategy to finance to creative to production. It is ultimately the role of an
account person at any level to ensure that a project meets the client and agency’s ambitions
to generate great, effective creative work, on time and on budget, and to motivate the team
along the way.
Responsibilities
The **Account Director** is the agency’s quarterback, able to create the conditions for the
creative work to thrive. They have high emotional intelligence and can nurture junior team
members as well as client relationships. The account director is expected to be:
• A business partner to the clients, using their deep knowledge and understanding of
the clients’ business in order to create the best conditions for the right work to thrive,
leading to the success and growth of both our partners and our agency.
• Able to manage internal teams (direct reports, colleagues, and seniors) with poise,
clarity and integrity building followership across the board, navigating the BBH
process effortlessly and are able to lean on the internal expertise available (across
offices) to deliver outstanding creative solutions to a range of business problems.
• Fluent in all phases of the creative process from strategy, through creative to
production and bring their expertise to bear at each stage, foreseeing issues before
they arise and heading them off. Taking pressure off the team by tackling the difficult
conversations and know when to escalate for support is also part of their role.
• Keenly aware of the value LNY brings to the table, which allows the agency to price our
skills well and talk about LNY value convincingly.
• A natural entrepreneur with a hunter attitude, actively searching for new business
opportunities within the marketing community, always on the hunt for growth while
keeping their eyes out for client needs, and quickly translating these needs into a
solution to grow the agency business.
Qualifications
• 6+ years of relatable experience in client service
• Entrepreneurial spirit with experience contributing to new business efforts and driving
organic growth
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and run multiple projects at once
with minimal oversight
• A solid understanding of business and marketing strategy
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A passion for creativity

Compensation Range: $95,950- $150,995 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
