Position Summary
The Line & Ramp Lead is responsible for leading their assigned shift, serving the customers’ needs, and the meeting the requirements of their base in accordance with Jet Aviation policy and procedures. The Training Lead is responsible for supporting the site with training for the line service team, but also as a line service team member themselves, including serving the customers’ needs, and the meeting the requirements of their base in accordance with Jet Aviation policy and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
+ A minimum of two years’ related experience as a line service technician and/or relevant training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is strongly preferred.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Results-oriented with a strong sense of personal accountability and the ability to execute tasks effectively.
+ Demonstrates strong initiative and the ability to work independently with self-direction.
+ Capable of performing supervisory duties in the absence of the supervisor.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of refueling procedures for both general aviation and corporate aircraft.
+ Proficient in towing procedures and techniques for aircraft handling.
+ Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
+ Flexibility to work varied schedules and adapt to different weather conditions.
+ Ability to successfully complete and obtain certification from the NATA Line Service training program.
+ Capability to secure a Motor Vehicle Operating Permit (MVOP) within 30 to 60 days of employment.
+ Requirement to obtain an Airport ID Badge within 30 days of hire.
+ Maintains a pleasant, friendly, and helpful demeanor to ensure an exceptional experience for both customers and colleagues.

Main Responsibilities
+ May be responsible for reviewing timecards of shift team members, creating schedules, and monitoring overtime usage to ensure efficient workforce management.
+ Serves as the primary point of contact for shift communications, implementing management directives and coordinating training requirements relevant to the team.
+ Oversees the overall operation of the flight line in accordance with established procedures for Line & Ramp Services Agent team members, including fueling, hangar stacking, towing, aircraft ramp parking, service equipment management, and facilities maintenance.
+ Ensures strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures by effectively managing employees in the absence of the Senior Manager.
+ Utilizes hand signals to safely guide aircraft during arrivals and departures.
+ Maintains clear communication with employees and flight crews via radio to deliver exceptional customer service.
+ Assists in providing aircraft with essential services such as de-icing, coffee, catering, and other necessary support.
Work Schedule and Compensation

+ We formally operate 24 hours daily, 7 days weekly.
+ This shift () will be the initial assignment, with the potential for changes over time as our business needs and opportunities evolve.
The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this non-exempt position will be as follows: $20 - 29 hourly which is equivalent to $43,000 - $62,000 annually, plus a performance-based bonus up to 5% of annual salary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and communicate verbally. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk or sit. and occasionally requires climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds over their heads. Visual requirements include, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.
The work environment includes both heavy maintenance areas and upscale customer spaces. Noise levels are generally moderate but can become loud during aircraft arrivals and departures. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration and occasional fuel fumes. The role requires the ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions. Seasonal temperature extremes in the hanger environment may include both very hot and cold conditions.
