    **Job Title:** Administrative Assistant I

    **Location:** 4400 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY LI 11776

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an **Administrative Assistant** for a temporary assignment from the beginning of the year until mid-May. Exceptional candidates may have the opportunity for permanent placement—even as early as 2-3 months into the assignment.

     

    **Pay Rate:** $25/hour

    **Hours:** 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities

    + Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner

    + Meet and greet clients

    + Set appointments and manage calendars

    + Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks, including but not limited to:

    + Pulling files

    + Printing documents

    + Sending out email blasts

    + Utilize Microsoft Office for various administrative tasks (basic to above basic proficiency required)

    Qualifications

    + Prior administrative experience required (entry-level work, but seeks an experienced and professional candidate)

    + Friendly, patient, and enjoys client interaction

    + Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced setting

    + Must be dependable and eager to help

    + No previous accounting experience required

    + Willingness to learn additional tasks, including basic tax return preparation, if considered for a permanent role.
