+ Job Summary and Qualifications Paramedicjobs involveresponding to emergency calls, providing advanced life support, and ensuring patient stability duringtransport. Paramedics assess patients, administer treatments, and direct EMTs. They alsomaintainambulances, equipment, and ensure compliance with protocols. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment and Treatment Transport and Communication Equipment and Supply Management Compliance and Protocol Adherence What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within30 daysof employment start date Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within90 daysof employment start date PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date Other-Fingerprint Required Current Paramedic license in Florida. Ability to perform invasive procedures under pressure Strong communicationand interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of human growth and development and appropriate patientcare Experience with critical care transport (if applicable). Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
