Job Summary and Qualifications

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to join our Clinical Services Group Marketing & Communications team. This advanced communications professional will transform complex information into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful messaging that supports strategic initiatives across service lines, including Practice Operations, Urgent Care Services, Graduate Medical Education, and Research Institute.

What you will do in this role:

+ Develop and execute internal communications strategies that inform, educate, and engage colleagues across hospitals, physician practices, and urgent care clinics.

+ Create compelling content such as executive messages, newsletters, blogs, presentations, and intranet articles.

+ Collaborate with teams like HR, Information Security, and Creative Services to ensure alignment and consistency.

+ Track and report performance metrics to measure communication effectiveness.

What qualifications you should have for this position:

+ Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required

+ Experience:5–7 years in communications; healthcare experience preferred.

+ Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills (AP style).

+ Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and digital communication platforms.

+ Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
