    Position Title:

    Clinic Office Lead

    Department:

    Family Medicine

    Position Purpose:

    This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations within the clinic, including staff coordination, process improvement, training, and troubleshooting. The role assists in managing workload assignments, scheduling, patient registrations, and medical records, while ensuring smooth clinic operations and patient flow. The position also involves administrative duties such as coordinating billing, handling patient inquiries, verifying insurance, and managing special projects. The lead serves as a resource for staff, provides direction in the absence of the manager, and ensures adherence to performance expectations and operational policies.

    Hours:

    Full Time; 40 hours/week

    Job Duties:

    + Knows, understands, incorporates, anddemonstratesthe Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

    + Optimizesclinic operations,assistingwith patient registration, billing, demographics, code scanning, denials, and collections.

    + Overseesstaff scheduling, onboarding,and education.Assistswith payroll, timekeeping, and performance management.

    + Recognizes and addresses issues, improvingclinicflow and ensuring quality patient care. Responds to patient inquiries.

    + Activelyparticipatesin meetings,leadshuddles, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and departmental policies.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Associate's degree in related fieldrequired. Equivalent years of experience in related fieldsmay be considered in lieu ofAssociate’sdegree.

    + Must have a minimum of2years of prior related experience in a medical office or healthcaresetting.

    + Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to populationservedwithin three (3) months of hire.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
