    Engineer I $65,000-$82,000 | This is an in-person role based in Cohasset, MN

    Experience the full spectrum of engineering work, where you’ll split your time between working at Boswell Energy Center’s coal-fired power plant and support new solar project construction.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide technical support for project planning, development, implementation and modification for power generation assets existing and being built, including coal and solar.

    + Monitor and analyze performance data, including work orders, to ensure optional reliability of power plant assets and optimal solar system efficiency.

    + Collaborate with internal employees and contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities, including identification of capital projects to improve reliability of assets.

    + Assist with development and implementation of operational procedures and best practices.

    + Generate reports on system performance, downtime, and maintenance activities.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of system assets, including configurations, maintenance logs, and compliance records.

    + Support commissioning and testing of new assets and systems.

    + Stay current with industry standards, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

    What You Bring:

    + Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program required.

    + Mechanical or Electrical degree preferred

    + Utility experience preferred

    + Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license as some travel and overnight stays may be required.

    + This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.

    The expected annual compensation range for this position is $65,000-$82,000. Compensation offered to the selected candidate will vary depending on relevant knowledge, skills, training, experience, and market conditions.
