    Summary:

    Manpower Engineering is partnering with a successful manufacturer of specialized agricultural equipment that seeking a Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to lead and develop the teams responsible for cycle counting, material planning, production scheduling, and material handling. The position will also lead the strategic planning and implementation for the full supply chain & logistics program. This role is critical to ensuring seamless material flow, inventory accuracy, and production readiness to support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

     

    **Job Title:** Supply Chain & Logistics Manager

    **Location:** Goodfield, IL

    **Pay Range:** $160,000-185,000

     

    What’s the Job?

    _Leadership & Team Development_

    + Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams in cycle count, material planning, scheduling, and material handling.

    _Inventory & Cycle Count Management_

    + Oversee daily, weekly, and annual cycle count programs to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance. Analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions to reduce variances.

    _Material Planning & Scheduling_

    + Ensure timely and accurate material planning to support production schedules and customer demand.

    _Material Handling & Logistics_

    + Optimize internal logistics and material flow to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

    + Ensure safe and effective handling, storage, and movement of materials throughout the plant.

    _Process Improvement & KPI Management_

    + Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory accuracy, schedule adherence, and material availability.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field.

    + 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or plant operations, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

    + Experience working in manufacturing supply chain + shop floor logistics

    + Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory control practices.

    + Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.

    + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational improvements.
