**Job Title:** Associate Transportation Planner

Adecco Staffing is seeking an **Associate Transportation Planner** to support our clients operations. This role is responsible for analyzing transportation and distribution networks to improve service levels, reduce freight costs, and increase overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Review daily orders for accuracy and ensure proper routing
+ Build efficient single- and multi-stop truckloads with a focus on cost and on-time delivery
+ Tender loads to awarded contract carriers for customer and inter-company shipments
+ Identify and evaluate new carriers that add value to transportation operations
+ Collaborate with planners and schedulers to maximize truck utilization and weight
+ Schedule delivery appointments with customers
+ Support transportation processes that improve efficiency and maintain competitiveness in refrigerated freight
Qualifications:
+ Associate’s degree in transportation, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience required
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred
+ Knowledge of the transportation industry, rate structures, and current trends
+ Familiarity with SAP preferred
+ Experience in food or meat transportation a plus
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
+ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

**Pay Details:** $32.00 per hour
