Overview:

Our company is seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic technology team in St. Louis. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. Your expertise will ensure our business technologies run smoothly, securely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee daily performance and maintenance of servers, networks, and related systems.

+ Install and configure new software, hardware, and applications.

+ Monitor system health, security, and backup procedures.

+ Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for end users.

+ Implement and support security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls.

+ Collaborate with IT team members on projects involving cloud migration, upgrades, or new technology solutions.

+ Maintain documentation of configurations, troubleshooting, and standard operating procedures.

+ Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices for business systems (e.g., cloud fundamentals, cybersecurity essentials).

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

+ Relevant microcredentials or certifications (such as CompTIA, Microsoft, or AWS) a plus (Source: Job Search Strategies Guide.pdf).

+ 2+ years of experience in systems administration or related IT support role.

+ Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOS) and networking fundamentals.

+ Experience with virtualization, cloud environments, and backup solutions.

+ Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication skills.
