    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review and verify loan applications and all accompanying documentation for completeness and accuracy.

    + Interact with loan officers, underwriters, and applicants to collect, organize, and review required documents.

    + Ensure all loan conditions are satisfied by gathering and evaluating credit, income, and asset information.

    + Track loan progress and maintain clear, timely communication with all stakeholders throughout the underwriting and approval process.

    + Identify and resolve discrepancies, missing information, or compliance issues quickly and efficiently.

    + Prepare files for submission to underwriting and ensure all required disclosures are issued properly.

    + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

    + Ensure all loan files comply with federal, state, and company regulations.

    + Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

    + Support other team members as required in a fast-paced environment.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum of two years’ experience as a Loan Processor or in a related banking or lending role.

    + Strong understanding of residential loan documentation and processing procedures.

    + Demonstrated ability to analyze and verify credit, income, asset, and collateral documents.

    + Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.

    + Proficiency with loan origination systems and standard office software.

    + Knowledge of applicable regulations (TILA, RESPA, TRID, etc.) preferred.

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business/finance is a plus
