    Description

    Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join their finance team, with a primary focus on complex intercompany transactions, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This is a long term contract position, with the opportunity to go full time hire in later 2026. Onsite is required for the first 3 months and then hybrid thereafter.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage and reconcile heavy intercompany transactions across multiple business units

    + Maintain, analyze, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger accounts

    + Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

    + Perform account analysis, variance explanations, and resolve discrepancies

    + Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals

    + Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

    + Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to resolve accounting issues

    + Assist in SOX/internal audit activities, as needed

    + Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for accounting efficiency

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + Minimum 3–5 years progressive accounting experience, including significant work with intercompany transactions

    + Advanced understanding of general ledger systems, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation

    + Strong proficiency in accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and Excel

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    + CPA or other relevant certification is a plus, but not required
