Robert Half Legal is proud to partner with a highly respected boutique civil litigation firm known for its excellent work culture in their search for a skilled Litigation Legal Secretary. This is a unique contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a flexible hybrid schedule—work onsite 2 days per week and remotely for 3 days.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Support attorneys and paralegals with all aspects of civil litigation matters.

+ Draft, format, and proofread correspondence, pleadings, discovery documents, and filings.

+ Manage case files and maintain organization of digital and physical records.

+ Coordinate court filings (both electronic and physical) and calendaring deadlines.

+ Interface with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

+ Arrange meetings, depositions, and conference calls.

+ Perform administrative tasks including time entry, expenses, and billing support.

+ Ensure confidentiality and uphold the firm's high ethical standards at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ 3+ years’ experience as a legal secretary in civil litigation required (boutique firm experience an asset).

+ Extensive knowledge of local and federal court rules and filing procedures.

+ Strong organizational and communication skills; excellent attention to detail.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.

+ Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a collaborative environment.

+ Flexible, adaptable, and committed to providing exceptional support to the team.
