    Entry-Level Electrical Engineering Technician - multiple openings!

     

    Pay: $25/hour

    Start Date: Beginning of 2026

    Are you a recent Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology graduate looking to jump-start your career in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry? This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work alongside a talented engineering team.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Design & Development: Collaborate with electrical engineers to conduct tests and validate designs.

    + Test Fixture Design: Support production by designing test fixtures and implementing test protocols during manufacturing.

    + Design Testing: Execute and document test protocols provided by electrical engineers.

    + Troubleshooting: Diagnose field returns to determine root cause of failure.

    + Documentation: Prepare detailed test reports and repair evaluation forms for engineering review.

    + Prototype Creation: Build small proof-of-concept prototypes (e.g., cables) for early-stage design testing.

    + PCB Rework: Perform soldering and component changes on PCB assemblies during prototype bench testing.

    Requirements

    + Proficiency with tools such as multimeters, soldering stations, oscilloscopes.

    + Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams.

    + Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and develop solutions.

    + Accurate record-keeping and ability to create clear written reports.

    + Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    + Proficiency in MS Office.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plainview, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
