Job Title: Mechanical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will play a significant role in healthcare projects. This position is production-focused and requires collaboration within a team of engineers. Proficiency in Revit is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

+ Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and commitments.

+ Maintain and improve engineering design and production processes.

+ Work closely with the engineering team to ensure project scope is defined and fulfilled.

+ Review drawings and specifications during all phases of design.

+ Research and interpret applicable codes and regulations.

+ Communicate effectively across all aspects of the team and project.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

+ 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Proficiency in Revit.

+ Experience in healthcare design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Licensed or pursuing licensure in Mechanical Engineering.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a three-floor building with business administration on the main floor, architects on the second floor, and engineers on the third floor. The office space features cubicles in an open space to facilitate easy collaboration. The schedule offers flexibility with a combination of in-office and remote work: Monday in-office, Tuesday remote, Wednesday in-office, Thursday in-office for the first half of the day and remote for the second half, and a half-day on Friday if 40 hours have been completed. The company is engaged in 90% healthcare projects across the nation, providing a stable and dynamic work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $43.27/hr.
