    Job Title: Production Supervisor (Night Shift)

    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor is responsible for safely leading and managing all operational aspects of the facility during their shift. This role involves coordinating with management on daily requirements and establishing plans to meet production goals with the team. The Production Supervisor ensures adherence to all safety guidelines and work instructions, while working collaboratively with colleagues and department leaders to communicate requirements and provide direction to the team.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage all operational aspects of the facility during assigned shifts.

    + Coordinate daily requirements with management and establish plans to meet production goals.

    + Ensure and enforce adherence to all safety guidelines, work instructions, and job requirements.

    + Work collaboratively with colleagues and department leaders to communicate requirements.

    + Provide direction and guidance to the production team.

    + Write and enforce policies and procedures.

    + Review and manage documents related to production processes.

    + Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance.

    + Drive continuous and process improvements in manufacturing operations.

    + Maintain quality standards through effective supervision.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production supervision and management.

    + Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes in a heavy industrial environment.

    + Mechanical engineering experience.

    + Strong people management and leadership skills.

    + Proficiency in quality and Lean Manufacturing principles.

    + Effective communication skills.

    + Ability to write and enforce policies and procedures.

    + Experience in production management and goal setting.

    + Supervisory skills in a manufacturing environment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + AA Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience (military experience highly preferred).

    + Mechanically inclined with hands-on mechanical engineering experience.

    + 5+ years of supervisory and/or leadership experience.

    Work Environment

    This role involves working on a manufacturing floor and a facility shop floor with automated equipment, split 60%/40%. The position is a night shift from Monday to Thursday, 8 PM to 6 AM. The work environment requires boots, pants, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats and glasses. The facility will grow from 115 to 230 employees by mid-next year. The work can be physically demanding, especially in summer heat.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
