    Job Title: CDL Driver** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated CDL Driver to perform essential transportation duties between locations. This role involves conducting pre-trip inspections, managing supply lists, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring materials are scanned and tracked efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.

    + Check and manage supply lists from the St. Pete location, including items like gaylords and pallets.

    + Load and offload trucks, ensuring items are stored in their designated locations.

    + Transport production materials from St. Pete to Pinellas Park.

    + Unload materials at Pinellas Park and ensure accurate tracking using an RF scanner.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with RF scanners.

    + Experience driving a box truck.

    + Possession of a Class B CDL (Class A is also acceptable).

    + Forklift operation skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience driving an international box truck with a heavy-duty floor (32k GVW).

    + Ability to work in a dynamic environment, spending approximately 75% of time performing duties and 25% in Pinellas Park.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.

    they do have good benefits- M/D/V, 401k

    Locally they are a smaller outfit (50 people at this site) and 100+ with St. Pete

    Close community locally but stability with larger corporate partners

    Stability within products and customers - locally since the 80's

    Work environment

    No annual review, but they do regular 1-on-1 reviews with the employees

    Raises are contribution efforts (effort, attitude, attendance, learning)- not guaranteed

    Safety program if there is a near miss or concern the person who brings it off they get a scratch off to $10-50 to earn golf balls, Tervis, etc. then if they can spell the word SAFE they get put in a drawer for a 55' TV

    Lunch and learns - trainings provided with lunch

    No holiday parties, but do smaller events like super bowl

    Employee appreciation week (early March)- snacks every day of the week
